Accessibility Statement for District 11 Website

At Colorado Springs School District 11, we are committed to ensuring that everyone who visits our website feels welcome and finds the experience accessible and rewarding.

Our Commitment to Accessibility

District 11 is dedicated to providing equitable access to digital content for individuals with disabilities, in accordance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act. We are also fully committed to meeting the standards set by Colorado House Bill 21-1110, which enhances accessibility requirements for digital content provided by local government entities.

To guide our efforts, we follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, which outline best practices for making web content more accessible to individuals with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone. WCAG defines three levels of accessibility—A, AA, and AAA. We aim to meet Level AA across the D11 website.

We are continuously working to ensure that all digital services—including websites, applications, and documents—are accessible and inclusive. As part of our accessibility roadmap, District 11 is also committed to providing all staff with essential training related to HB 21-1110 and digital accessibility practices. ⇢ Staff Accessibility Resources
